The 2024 Camp Cook Off will be hosted by club members Steve & Jane on their property at Porongurup on Saturday 21st September (Long weekend), participants and spectators can arrive early afternoon and have meals prepared for judging by 6.30pm.
Participants need to prepare some "Good Aussie Tucker" and present a serve to the judges for assessment of flavour, nutritional value and presentation.
Bonus points for creativity.
Prizes will be awarded for top placings.
Keep an eye out for road and dirt ride options, or make your own way down to Porongurup, there are accommodation options close by if you would prefer some creature comforts :) or camp at onsite.
Sunday we can spend the day exploring the local tourist spots, The Granite skywalk is very impressive, or take a day trip into Albany.
Monday 23rd pack camp and head home via country roads.
Participants must carry all cooking gear on their bikes.
